Elliots Beach has a couple of renowned places of worship. The Ashtalakshmi Temple dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi attracts many worshippers. The Velankanni Church, a facsimile of the renowned church in Velankanni, is a popular pilgrimage spot for not only Christians but people of all faiths.
Elliots Beach is a great place to head out to if you want to enjoy sun and sand. However, swimming is not advisable as the currents are strong.
